Karma

I found this an amazing commentary on karma, the yogic principle of cause-and-effect. Everything we do has consequences and as Chris Jordan, a Seattle artist, demonstrates, some of our actions have sobering effects.

Black Out, Breathe In

We had a little blackout at work today, and I have to admit that I enjoyed it. I hadn’t realized how desensitizing it is to be amidst the constant buzzing of lab equipment and the sterile glow of the fluorescent overheads. It was so peaceful to have nothing but space to feel and hear my own breath and pulse.
